Which do you guys think would look more "correct" on my 64 2wd flareside?

You can buy brand new stainless repops of the bottle caps for $30-35/each from a variety of sources.....unless you specifically want the painted ones.
As for the second set, they are for something newer and probably not the size to fit your wheels. Note: the repops do not come with painted letters.

Get some really good tape and fresh razor blades and you'll do fine. Actually, an X-acto knife would probably be easier on the curves but I didn't have one. Another challenge is to do a light sanding of the letters once you get them masked off. If I remember correctly, I attached some 220 grit to a slim flat screw driver and carefully scuffed the flat part of the letters so the paint would have something to bond to.
This is the paint I used but you could also get paint used for pinstriping online if you prefer. I chose this color because I wanted to match the red on my "twinibeam" badges, but obviously, you can choose any color you want.
