The 6.2 is a very good engine and makes for a very livable daily driver in a 3/4 ton truck. Coming from an older F250 with a 5.4 and manual trans it took a little while to get used to the throttle response, but I have been very happy with the 6.2 in my 2015. I got the 4.30 gears because I intend to purchase a fifth wheel next spring that weighs ~8k empty with a GVWR of ~11,500. The heaviest I have towed with it so far is ~6k and the truck pulled it beautifully. I get around 13 mpg in mixed city/highway driving and have seen 16+ on highway trips where I kept it under 70 most of the way.
Head on over to the 6.2 forum and look around at the threads there for more information on the engine and how folks like it.
