I finally got around to installing my IC over the past weekend and wouldn't you know the e99 pipes just don't fit the dang thing. You'd think the cold side would be closer but I guess not.
So anyways where can I find a set that is ready to drop in. I don't have the welding skills to tackle the project, and can't afford to drop my truck off at a shop while they play with it trying to make something work.
BarNone diesel has a set listed but seems to be out of stock on them. I was going to email them, but figured I'd see if someone here might have a set they aren't using?
I'd just buy a full turbo kit for Irate, and injectors from Jim, but I'm just trying to get the pipes installed so I can get the truck sold and move on to something else.
Well I don't think there any pipes you can buy from any aftermarket store. Some dude fabs and sells them on another forum, he never responded to any of my emails. So I used pipes off a SD and cut and used boots from http://www.siliconeintakes.com/ to make it work
I don't see how it can stick up in the air? I just had big gaps in between the spyder and pipes. I used 3" exhaust pipe with a welding rod welded on each end and doubled booted them.
When I did mine I used SD ic pipes, only had to add 3" of 3" pipe to the Intercooler part ,and like 9" of 3" pipe to the turbo side of the driver side and fit snuggly, cheap and easy if you know how to weld.
