Hi, recently i bought my 83 F250 and where the license plate lights should be, there were just holes. So I ordered license plate light assemblies and now i have them but can't get them to work. On the back of the lights are wires that meet into a little tube with another opening on the back of that, where it looks like you would put wires into it. All I have from my truck wiring to the license plate lights are 2 wires on each side. I shoved those wires down into the tube on the back of the assemblies but it didn't work. Any help on this would be great. thanks
