Quick brake help

I searched and couldn't find a difinitive answer. I think I know the answer, but I wanted to verify. Are the calipers with steel pistons directly interchangeable with the phenolic pistons?

Also, which is better. I am replacing both front calipers and don't want to have to do it twice.

Should be, it's just piston material the layout and orientation is the same.

I just went to steel when I did mine to be done with it, plus they were cheaper.
