Brake Caliper Piston Material Type
I bought some new brake calipers for my truck and the piston is some type of plastic (phenolic?). Are all calipers like this now? Is there much of an advantage or disadvantage to this material?

Many people don't like the phenolic piston and have returned them to swap for metal pistons. I've never paid attention to mine and never had a problem. If the part has a LLT warranty, worry about it later.
