I currently own a 2011 Ford F-150 XLT 4X4 5.0L and the tires I use are 265 70 R17. I ordered a 2"" front leveling lift . They say I can use a 35" tire, Is that true? Also I want to put on mastercraft courser MXT ( offroad / highway ) whats the largest tire I can go (without cutting wheel wells.
Im so noob when it comes to tires , I dont want to order wrong tires.
Haaaaalllpppp LoL
Welcome aboard! Search is your friend, there's probably 50 threads like this one. I have a 2" front level with 3" rear blocks and run basically a 35" Nitto Terra grappler, 295/70-18. Pics in my profile, not familiar with the Mastercraft tires, can you post a link?

Looks like a 315/70-17 is the same height but my Nittos are not as wide at 11.4 vs 12.8 I think it was? Are you putting them on stock wheels?

Well not by choice , I am looking at wheel &Tire packages but I really need new rims as I hate them so much. But im going up in mountains soon and i really need tires so I ordered a 2" front lift kit so I can level my truck and add larger tires , so im told lol I have to do this as cheap as possible. The mastercraft Courser mxt is the tire my buddy has on his raptor and he said they one best tires hes ever had. My rims now are 8" wide ( i think) with a 265/70/R17 I would think I could put that same size mud tire and have clearance , right? Lol
I'm so messed up with the rim & tire math crap lmfao
I'd guess they are 7.5" wide. You could go 285/70-17 without a level I think, and 295/70 with the level on stock rims. You could do rims later, like after winter. Have to watch the offsets and I don't know enough about that to speak intelligently on it. I got Fuel Throttle 18x9 and I forget the offset without looking at the box, but I'm going to run the stock wheels with 275/70-18 LTX/MS2 in the winter so I don't trash my new wheels. Maybe someone else will have better input
