Trying to figure out what kind of transmission to use for a Stroked out 351W

What are you going to be doing? Long trips, short trips, racing, cruising....

What gear & tire do you want to run?

Budget? You have and expensive motor, so do you really want a $200 transmission?

Manual or auto?

Yeh I know it's expensive I paid to have it built lol didn't realize how much it was gonna cost but it was worth until it ate up the transmission lol

And I'd like to keep it automatic and able to drive if on street but still play in it a lil

It was a C6

OK stock a good C6 should handle 400 hp unless you are drag racing. If you are OK without OD and overall gearing is what you want, get a rebuilt C6 with a shift kit in it.

And to be honest my intentions were for these high school kids who only put exhaust on there mustangs and think they are the fastest things ever lol and laugh at my old farm truck until I start it up

A rebuilt c6. Throw in a Transgo shift kit. What ci is this stroked to and what is the intake duration of the can you might need a slight stall if the cam is real lumpy.
