You can use a 3M eraser wheel. It attaches to the drill. It does not hurt the paint. It kinda makes a little mess but it takes it off. Just another option. Amazon sells them and any body or auto shop sells them too.

I’m new to the site but I’m finding that you guys are great so much info it’s like my mind is being read...I was just thinking about doing this but was unsure.....and it’s cool to know I’m not the only one that’s cray cray about my truck I was starting to feel alone...😂
