Exclamation V10 Throttle acting up

I'm going to apologize in advance for asking for help in my first post. I assure you I will not be a one post wonder.

Earlier I did this super sweet burnout in my 250 and when I let off it stayed at 3k and was jumping between 2 and 3k and when I put it in park it went to 4, dropped back down to fluctuating between 2 and 3 again, then I put it in drive and it dropped down to 2ish and stayed at 2.5/3k until I came to a complete stop, but when I felt the tranny shift into 2nd (Automatic) it dropped down to 1k and drove pretty much normal. Revved uncontrollably high going slow but started acting almost normal at 30-40 mph.

I'm no mechanic so I'm not even 60% sure what's wrong with it and I don't know much about this V10, but I just wanted to get some more opinions on it before I tried messing with it or wasted money having a professional check it out if it's just something silly or a common problem.

Sorry if I got too specific. What do you guys think?

What year is the truck? Do you have a IACV on back of the throttle body? I would try cleaning this first.

It's a 2000. Pretty sure it has an IAC although I'm not looking at it. Lol
That definitely could be a part of the problem or the problem in entirety.

99 which I have does have an IACV. Yours will too. I believe the 05+ trucks did not have an IACV.
When was the fuel filter changed last? Do you have a fuel pressure gauge or access to one?

I would run some Seafoam through the brake booster line and see if that helps.

Other things to do as well
-Clean the MAF with MAF spray
-Check your air filter, Is it clean if not replace with paper Motorcraft unit.
-Run some Techron in the fuel tank

Thanks for your opinion, i'm thinking it is something easy like that, so I will be doing all of that and a few other little things and I'll update the thread with the results. Not sure when the fuel filter was last changed but it does have a new fuel pump so it might have been changed when that was done. I believe I have a fuel pressure gauge, I'll go ahead and check the pressure while I'm at it.
