easier?

would it be easier to change over to a one piece drive line or fix my old two piece. the u joints. not sure about the slider parts in the middle i doesn't move and is covered with a sheath. i found out the differential is a no.86 which is a3.73 nonlimited slip and the truck is a 96 ranger wil a 5 spd manual and a 2.3L engine.

To have a driveshaft fabricated and balanced would cost you a little more than $300 probably. A couple of U-joints and a center bearing would be a lot cheaper.
