Learned something. When I had my '94 E4OD Bronco the gears were P R N(D) D 2 1. So they didn't allow as many choice back then?

E4OD, OD lockout on dash in early years, on end of shifter for later:

Not that I spent much time looking, but I did not find that pattern.

Most of the E4OD info says P R N D 2 1, where the D is in a circle, and they have an OD lockout button.

So my guess on the tires was right. That shift quadrant looks like an AOD to me rather than an E4OD (which probably wasn't unusual in a standard F-250, but it would tend to indicate that yours probably isn't an F-250HD). But whatever, it's an overdrive automatic, almost certainly with a lockup torque converter. So the 1700 rpm I said assuming it's an E4OD is going to be pretty close (the AOD has a 0.67:1 OD, so it would give a slightly lower engine speed). And that's all pretty close to your 1750 at 55 mph. So it's confirming you have 4.10s.
