Retrofit questions

Ok, at work I am working on a '82 F150 lwb work truck the guy is doing a resto mod on. One of the key features is a 5.0 coyote motor he bought out of a wrecked Mustang.

I already have the fox body mustang conversion mounts to mount a 5.0 coyote in a fox body mustang using the factory k member. This will work on the F150 after grinding the locating nub off the mounts.

But the guy wants a factory tach dash and I am kind of un sure if the oem factory tach could be made to work with a 5.0 coyote engine.

Does anyone here have any information on this?

Second question is cruise control, would it be entirely possible to retrofit the oem horn pad with cruise to operate the cruise on the pcm? I assume the pcm has cruise in it.
