Aftermarket cruise control

I've got a '96 2WD F-150 with the 5.0 and the 4 speed automatic. It does not have cruise control, but I'm planning a couple of long trips this summer (1500 miles plus) and I know that cruise would be awfully nice to have. I saw an aftermarket dash mounted kit in the Whitney catalog for about $99.00; anyone have experience with this one?
TIA, Shilly:-X12

Aftermarket cruise control

I do not know about that unit. We uses SCS after market cruises and they work great. They mount where the factory does and they use the speed sensor circuit as there source. Just put one an 1989 and it took about an hour.
