Two questions about front axle/hubs

My understanding is that the D50 and D60 are pretty much the same beast from where the axles leave the Diff to the hub locks. I know the diff is much smaller on the 50 and the axles neck down at the splines to go into the smaller side gears but are the hub assemblies different? I've heard now a couple of times someone has attached this problem to the Dana 50 only. In 02 does the Dana 60 have a serviceable bearing? Does anyone know for sure. If so I'm trading up. I don't wheel hard so the smaller diff I can live with but I hate having to worry about when my wheel bearings are gonna go especially since I have oversized tires.

Yea thats why they went back to the D60 servicable bearings. Lots of stuff is different, At least this is what I'm led to believe..
