1991 F350 7.5 ping/rattle under slight load

Hi there, I am new to this. I have a 1991 Lariat F350 7.5 gasoline crew cab dually with 257k miles on it. I have owned it for 14 years and had it parked up for a couple of years while I used a 2000 F350 diesel as my main vehicle. I did use the 91 on the odd occasion. It would not start one day and after checking it over I found the distributor was the fault. I replaced it with an aftermarket one because the OE was too expensive. Since then it has a miss at idle and is also noticeable at cruising speed. I have changed the distributor cap again, new plugs, wires, MAF, EGR, Air bypass valve, installed Bosch 4 head injectors, some vacuum lines and connectors, checked timing [with spout out] bought an Innova 3145 code reader and on the engine running check it passes with code 11. I thought maybe a burnt valve so I did a compression test, results are cyl1-160, cyl2-162, cyl3-160, cyl4-160, cyl5-162, cyl6-165, cyl7-155, cyl8-165. I did the dollar bill test on the exhaust pipe and I feel it does sort of suck the dollar bill back when it faulters/misses. With all of the above does anyone have some suggestions? Shouldn't a burnt valve show up on a code or on the compression test?

Thanks

Since your distributor install preceded this all, you may want to explore that event.

Was the PIP coil the reason for replacement?

Timing chains are usually sloppy at even 150K on these engines, and are replaced at water pump changes.

Check spark plugs to identify the cylinder. Short/ disconnect plug wires also toward this end.

Use a noid light to insure all injectors are energized when called.
