5.8l No start problem
Truck: 1989 f250 5.8l efi 4x4 single cab.
Up until last night, no issues. On the way home last night, headlights, radio, electronics began to flicker on and off intermittently. Began hearing awful noise. Pulled into my spot and shut the truck off. Opened the hood and saw small amount of smoke coming from the starter solenoid on the passenger fender and slightly melted battery cable at the solenoid. Waited about 5 minutes, started the truck back up and everything ran as normal. Today, went to start the truck and it cranked with no issues, almost faster than it had before. But no start. Am extremely confused. Doesn't seem to have a spark and can't figure out what has happened. Radio, headlights, all other electronics good. Can hear the fuel pump still working. Any and all input is much appreciated. Thanks.
