I am wondering if any of you guyes have ever installed or had installed flowmasters for a 96 3.0L ranger thanks for any help

Hey there rangersvt04! Are you thinking of going with a dual exhaust system? Or a single that Y's off to each side of the vehicle? You can do both of these set-ups. Just keep the diam. at 2.5" and run the tips out through the sides in front of the rear tires. A nice mellow tone....

i am just trying to find some preformance up grades for this pos 3.0L i was going to just "bolt on" the muffler. because i want to drop a 302 in this ranger. but thanks for the help. any one know the part # for a flowmaster muffler that fits the ranger?

 

Hey rangersvt04! You can call a local auto parts outlet. It'll be 2" to 2 1/4" and about 19" to 21" long.

How far have you gotten on the 302 swap? Do you have an engine yet? Tranny? We love talking about this stuff.........

 

umm cant seem to get my hands on a 302 but my friends dad is giving(FREE) me a 351 block and the crank if he can find it. i dont know if its a windsor or a cleavland. but as soon as i get it cleaned up i will give block nubers. and might have a c-6 tranny from a 19?? bronco
