I have a 97 f250 HD powerstroke that has a miss that I have been fighting for a little bet now and cant find the problem. It started after i replaced the velve cover gaskets because the plugs had gone bad. I also replaced the plugs to. If someone nows whats going on with this i could use a little help. also the glow plugs dont work for crap.

If you used Dorman gaskets from the parts house, that's more than likely your problem. And for glow plugs, if they don't say BERU on the plug, don't put them in.
I used oem gaskets and its still the original glow plugs. I didnt have a problem with them tell the gaskets had gone bad. now it wont start when its under 40 out side and not pluged in.
Did you solder the new pig tails on, or use butt connectors? If you used the crimp on butt connectors, this may be where the miss came from. X2 on the GP relay.
