Anyone have any idea why my 2011 F-250 $X$ Super Duty alarm goes off every time I disarm it then open the door? cueslinger

 

Not sure, not too good with alarms. If this a factory system or a add-on system? If it's add-on, what brand? Did you just buy this truck?

 

dealer or factory installed, the battery went totally dead and was replaced, and i just bought the truck from a good friend (the original owner ).

 

Have you tried different methods of entry? I supposed you are pushing the key fob when the problem happens? What happens if you go up and manually unlock the door with the key? It's not recognizing one of the methods as a authorized entry. Just trying to get more info in case someone comes along that may know what the problem is. You can also try all the other doors.

I don't know if they have a aux switch to tell the alarm the door is open, or they communicate with the body module to verify the door has been opened.
