RSK shackle flip and reversal questions

Hi all.

Im swapping in a D60 and DRW axle into my 95 F250. i was looking into adding the 3" shackle reversal to the front of the truck. i will be using the stock f250 rear springs and 2" blocks. Will the 2" shackle flip be enough in the rear be enough to level out the truck? Do i need longer shocks, drop pitman arm or anything else for the install?

Thanks in advance

Are you planning on using OBS springs or SD springs?

Never seen a 2" rear shackle flip, they were all 4"

You need different pitman arm just for the Fact the F250 one is short to begin with and yes on the shocks as well along with an adjustable track bar or track bar drop bracket

This was on their website. I was planning on using the obs springs for now and maybe in the future swap to SD springs. Im not sure how much they are, but i dont have a bunch of money at the moment. Maybe ill hold off until i do because i hear they work wonders for these trucks. Where can i find a good price on SD springs?

ATS spring is a site sponsor and he has very good prices.

I would hold out until you have a little more funds for Precision Metal Fab RSK. MUCH better design the the SKY unit
OBS RSK SD Spring Hanger Conversion Kit

So if i go with the superduty springs and their 2.25 reversal, how much would i need in the rear with the f250 springs and 2" blocks to give the truck a slight rake or level?

If you have 4 leaf rear springs you need a 5" block to make it level. A 6" to give a slight rake
If you have 5 leaf rear springs you need a 4" block to make it level(factory f350 block). A 5" to give a slight rake

I recommend New Rear SD springs as well, it completes the package

I see people are using the v rated front springs. What should i be looking at for the rear? And is there a year range for the superduty rear springs i should be looking at. They do have good prices at ats. Wonder if he offers discounts for FTE members...

V is too heavy For an OBS. You would want a U or D code or even lighter with a small block.

Are you running a plow on this truck? May not work with a plow frame and RSK

B code is a common rear spring

99-04 is what years have leaf front springs

Front:
2.5" RSK from PMF
SD U Code springs from ATSJunior
PFD400 drop pitman arm
2.5" drop track bar bracket from PMF
Adjustable track bar from PMF

Rear:
SD B code leafs from ATS
4" lift block from a 92-97 4x4 F350

Shocks:
Bilstein - I can give you the numbers most people use or the number I use that are stiffer. Another brand that is adjustable may be your preference but make sure the rebound is adjustable too as that is why I went to the stiffer shocks.

I do not plan to plow with this truck. The body is in good shape and i want to keep in that way. I have a couple other trucks i plow with.
