Power steering help

I have an issue my 62 ford started leaking power steering fluid bad from the control valve and the problem I'm having is finding a rebuilt unit the control valve on it is a garrison and I have found one but the female end on the new one is bigger then the one I have and I need help finding the right one. Also would the bendix unit go in its place easily any help would be great.

Unless you have an F800/1100, P/S was not available, so whatever type it has was swapped in from something else.

AFAIK, Garrison Power Assist P/S was only used on the following: 1973/75 F100 4WD & 1975 F150 4WD / 1973 F250 4WD / 1974 F250 4WD before serial number T80,001.

I know it wasn't stock it looks added by how the inner fender was cut for the lines but if you or anyone now if a latter bendix control valve would fit that would be great and did anyone make kits for these things back then?

You cannot swap a Bendix Power Assist P/S control valve for the Garrison type, as it's a completely different system.

Plus, Bendix was only used on F250 4WD's, and the Bendix parts are much harder to find than Garrison parts.

D3TZ-3A650-A .. Garrison Power Assist P/S Control Valve Seal Kit / Obsolete

WESLEY OBSOLETE PARTS in Liberty KY has 1 = 606=787-5293.

MCDONALD OBSOLETE PARTS in Rockport IN has 1 = 812-359-4965.

MILLER OBSOLETE PARTS in Binghamton NY has 3 = 607-722-5371.
