SBC w/AT in an F100?

When installing a 350 small block Chevy and turbo 350 in a 53-56 F100, do you have to remove/modify the original trans X member? How is firewall and trans cover clearance?

Trying to get an idea of how much work timewise for a potential customer estimate.

Thanks!

You do whatever the person paying the bills says... My SBC 400 has a T 56 6 speed so I don't know about the tranny mount for the T350, but the engine fits like it belongs there, (firesuit on) even has the indent in the firewall for plenty of clearance around the distributor. as well as all around. My engine is mounted with a bolt in universal tubular motor mount kit Like Mid Fifty sells. I have the beam axle with Toyota PS box. If you need pix or more info PM me your email.
