LOL, pushing silage in a big open pit at low speed and getting in and out of the tractor regularly no I don't wear the seatbelt but hauling wagons with a tractor on the road especially during harvest I almost always do. Some of the local farm help gets in a little bit more of a hurry then they need to and push 70mph on gravel roads with semi trucks, as much fun as it is to meet them the next several minutes after can be even more fun as you can't see 5 feet past the hood from the dust and have no idea who or what is behind them.

Nothing more then a scratch, they hit a leg for an oil pipeline, they are built to withstand more damage then a pickup can cause. I could not even point out which post it was as they all looked totally normal.

I run equipment for a living, I hear ya. We are required by our safety department to wear them at all times, so I usually do. Only time I don't is when running across a slope in a dozer, sometimes you need to sit on the armrest if it's a steep one. Feels weird for me to not wear one at this stage of the game

I just found this compelling video on you tube and thought I'd share it here. I thought it would fit this thread perfectly.

I just wonder how bad the drivers injuries are. Not to mention that if there were someone in passenger seat they'd either be dead or possibly wishing they were dead.
