The thermocouple probe for my pyro is in the downpipe. I'd like to relocate it to the drivers side manifold? Any issues with this? I know not to cut the lead wire. There are not special probes meant for post turbo are there? Also how the hell did you all get a drill and bit up in there to drill the manifold. Mine is an Isspro gauge and I think the thread for the probe is 1/4 npt. Needs a big hole to tap and it's a long bit.
I had my manifold off when I "tapped it" . I was fixing an exhaust leak and doing my up pipes. But a drill will fit in there just fine. Remember to wear safety glasses, collar shirt, long sleves.
