Watson Overdrive HELP!!!

Hey all I have been looking for a while now on info for an overdrive unit I have. It has a tag but no model or series numbers. Any info on it would be awsome, I think it's a model 40 something from what I have read but still not sure. It is a three speed and I do have the shifter and linkage for it. I attached a couple pics.
Thank you

Yeah I have man and can't find a whole lot that sounds like this one. Most of the info is for the larger watsons and spicer brownies

This one looks similar but I didn't do a point by point comparison. Click on the guys pics, they still come up. He has a close up of the data tag, says model 2021.

I found this searching "dana watson overdrive" as watson was or became some time in it's history part of Dana.

Yes that is pretty similar, mine is almost square thoe and has twin shafts that sick out for shifting. It is a OD-D-UD trans. There is a case number and when I searched it I found one forum talking about a model 43 Watson with a similar case number. The case number for mine is c30-15-118-1.

Are you considering using it?

If it turns and shifts, you are probably good. Bearings could be sourced as I bet they are "standard" production bearings, and as such, would have a number stamped into them that a decent bearing supplier could match up.

Good luck with it.

Just post an ad in the Marketplace forums, and hope for the best. Someone might know those and grab it quick. Or, you may be checking scrap prices....

Do you have all the shafts for it? I may be interested in buying it if everything is there and the ratios are near what I'm looking for. Any idea for shipping to 76887?

To determine the gear ratios, just turn the input shaft and count the number of times the output shaft turns.

For the linkage all the shafts are there. Also have the long drive shaft that was used from the t case up to the front axle. I don't have the short shaft that connected the OD to the trans or the short rear driveshaft. Gearing looks like 1 to .75 or .73, open and 1 to 1. Looking at shipping it would probably be cheaper to drive here and get it. I'd maybe meet you half way but would need more then $800. If your still interested give me a call or text at 3863415909. Thanks for checking the ratios. Unfortunately, for my purposes, those won't work. I need 2:1, 1:1, .85:1. You shouldn't have any trouble selling it to somebody. Those little auxiliaries are hot items these days.
