This one has 3.31 gears, and I was happy to see that it felt noticeably more powerful than my '13 did with 3.73s. The ride was very impressive, and I attribute much of that to the lighter weight.
Really liked the truck, but disappointed how expensive these things have gotten over the last couple years. They pitched me a pretty aggressive offer at $37,600, so I have some thinking to do over the next few days.
For anyone to say that the 3.31's will not or may not fit the bill, I'm to here to tell ya to look again. While I do agree that the 3.55's are a great choice as a middle of the road gear that allows you to do pretty much what ever you want, the 3.31's in my old fashioned steel truck have been nothing short of impressive with the 3.5L EB.
I wouldn't consider the 3.31's with a 5.0L or a non turbo engine.
For the tow rating to increase from 9200 pounds in my 2011 to 10700 in the 2015 is incredible.
But Tom, I know you better than you think: is 10700 enough for you?
She's a pretty one but I'd keep looking till you find the perfect truck. How will you know it's perfect? You'll take it home.
I'm in no particular hurry, and to be honest it'll be a better time for me to buy in a few months. The only things I had against this truck were the 23-gallon fuel tank and the stick-on chrome garbage they had on the doors. I could overlook those things for the right deal, and I have to admit I was impressed with their offer. But I think I'm better off waiting a bit.
Not sure I'd care about the 3.73 or the 3.55 gears. Have the 3.31's now, and I haven't been unhappy with the towing power.
Big tank and large mirrors would be more important to me.

^^^ This right here.
Definitely happy with how it handled with 3.31s, and from experience in the '09-14 forum the gears make a noticeable difference with highway fuel economy. My '14 would spin the wheels with 12,000 lbs behind it loaded to GAWR. Don't see why I need that much torque multiplication.
Would definitely opt for the bigger fuel tank though, you guys make a good point. I could add the mirrors and brake controller later on, so those are no biggie.
