Towing with PHP Hydra
Anyone towing with the Hydra using the 65HP Towing setting? I tried it with my 11000# 5th Wheel and was not happy. I saw high egt and lower power than I should have. I have a old Superchips MicroTuner that works much better.

Well I finally talked with Shawn at PHP and he suggested I try and upload a tow tune from someone else Can anyone give me a suggestion on a good tune writer? I am thinking of maybe Gearhead.

I ran high EGTs when using the AIS. I run much cooler using the 6637 filter. I would try that first. I have the Power Hungry 65t and 80t. My trailer is about 10k and I have to keep an eye on EGTs on the 80t when it is hot outside and we are in the mountains. If the filter doesn't do enough for you, I would try Gearhead tunes.
