What is the ambient temp there when taking the voltage readings?
My factory alternator holds 14.0v according to the Scangauge driving down the highway if the ambient temperature is under 80°. If it gets warmer out, my voltage drops around .2v per 10°

In the upper 80s to mid 90s, but it feels like 100 all day. That's South Florida weather for you.
