I don't have the book that shows where the fuse and relays are but I checked all I could. checked number 9 fuse and F and all three relays in the main block (?) under the hood. power every where except none to the blower or at the resistors. Hot wired the blower and it runs fine. Don't know how the juice flows and can't find a .wire diagram. Any one one know where I can find one? Does anyone know of a good book that includes wire diagrams. The store will not let me look to see whats inside the repair manuals. I don't mind buying one if it has the electric info. But which one to buy? Any ideas out there what I can look at next.
Go to Autozone.com, "register" for an "account" which gives you access to their free online schematics. You're free to view or download and print what they have. FWIW I can't blame retailers for keeping their for sale manuals under wraps----they're not lending libraries.
If you'll be doing most of your own electrical repairs I'd highly suggest buying the appropriate year, make and model Ford factory EVTM which is a printed book of the entire electrical system of a given vehicle. I find them on eBay for decent prices considering new from Ford they'd run about $140. A bit pricey for sure but worth their weight in gold for what they save the usual DIY guy.
