Running rough and white smoke
Headed home from a trip and the truck started having a miss, almost similar to when you run out of fuel. Also is blowing white smoke when under a load instead of black. Bad injector? Its not a ton if white smoke but enough to see

Might be injector. Exhaust dont smell sweet like coolant? Scan for codes to see wich cyl is the problem. Do a cylinder contribution test, and comp test.if all is good prepare for the worst case senario.
A few years back we had an early 99 that started to throw white smoke changed injectors did not help, did a compression test cyl #5 zero psi, removes the head to find out the piston was cracked in half. Hopefully this is not your case.
