Has anyone completed a Coyote conversion on a truck with factory A/C?
The truck I have (79 F150 351M) looks a little tight on the right side and I am of the opinion the Coyote is wider yet. Pics would be great.
Here are some pics of the subject matter. I'm checking on things very carefully to execute this properly. If I had no conscience at all, it would be so easy to stab an LS into it with room to spare.

I must not have a conscious then.. I would go for the best engine and the best fit in the budget. Cummins are not ford, but don't take too much flack.
An LS is a great engine and can be had cheap. Paint it ford blue and run with it.
Really?
Why f up a beautiful truck?

Just harvested a DOHC out of a Mark VIII for my Mustang.
Must say I don't think I'd buy a Mark VIII knowing how crammed in there everything is. Whew there's a lot of stuff in there.
But the engine is apart now and at the machinist.

That's because a Cummins is a cummins is a cummins. Cummins makes motors not vehicles. Chevy makes LS motors that's why most people on this fine site have issue with it.
Im not one to care if you put a chevy in your(not you personally 61 just speaking out loud here) ford truck but I wouldn't do it to mine. I would drop a cummins in my ford if it were a long bed four wheel drive.
OP funny how those little 302's are so much bigger now a days

Whoowee that's a lot crap crammed in there. Do you have a link for your mustang swap??
Yeah man you wouldn't believe it.
You might not be able to see it, but there's a sawzall in my brothers' hands.
We decided that would be the best way to deal with it. Just cut the car away from the engine since we didn't have a hoist to drop the K member out.
Getting back to the op, I think you're gonna need some fab skills to pull it off but it'll be a fun deal.
