I have a 1993 F350 and the chasses is not really worth sticking money into it, it is obvious somebody put a new motor in it and the tranny acts new as well.
I was thinking about pulling it for a backup for my 1994 F350 that needs a new fuel system and has some blow by, is this worth while or should I just sell it whole. What is a clean 7.3 and e40d worth because I was going to sell the whole thing for like 15 or 1800 hundred.
Just curious how hard it is to get these engines that seem to be almost like new.
Wrong corner of the country- I need an E4OD, harness, computer and sensors for a 7.3 so I can ditch the C6 in my van.
Make sure you grab the complete harness and controller for the transmission, those are the difficult part to come by.

I have the harness off the tranny. I had pulled it from my old parts truck. You can have it if you want it since mine are manual trannys.
I just scrapped the truck and it had a blown e4od.
Thanks for the input, I think it may be worth pulling. I was thinking if I wanted a backup engine it should be a early Cummins but the amount of work to swap is beyond me.
