My 83.
Hey again. I have found the reason why the truck dies when you give it gas. It has been sitting so long that it needs to warm up. After that it revs just fine. Right now the battery is dead. I think the reason why it dies is because it's burning off the old gas left over from the previous owner. A good friend of mine told me to change all fluids in it. And to take out the smog pump. On the left side of the fender by the battery there is an electronic fuel pump. I'll post pictures of the ford soon. Grooms out!
