door sills
Does anyone know of a supplier for door sills, (scuff plates), for the F-1? I can have a set made locally, but, in this area, they are becoming very common. I was hoping one of the many suppliers actually had developed a set.

F-1's did not have sill plates to my knowledge. I have carpet in Willard and purchased a set of polished SS sill plates that are right angle in cross section and the carpet is sandwiched by the horizontal surface of the sill plates. I am happy with the look and how they work to secure the carpet. Purchased fro Classic Haulers for $32 and are called "carpet keepers".

I had considered that approach, ALBUQ. But I didn't like the look of what was available. Add to that, my metal working skills are not the best and it looked like a road to failure.

These are what I ended up using, Theoct. They fit fine and are big enough to cover the edge of the carpet.
