and downloaded the "dash command" app for my i-phone and can set it up to monitor everything I want. It was less than $30 total and works well plus it's wireless. It works with tablets for a larger screen.

Reason: fix link
I don't have screen shots but you can customize it quite a bit by adding gauges and setting sizes colors etc. or you can get a pre set dashboard for the 6.4. I didn't really like the 6.4 dashboard, it had too much on it for my old eyes so I just made some simple gauges with egt, trans and oil temps, and a couple others. It is very easy to customize by adding gauges and arranging them, changing colors etc. or you can get a pre-made dashboard for the 6.4 but it was too busy for my old eyes so I just made some simple gauges with egt, water, oil, trans temps etc. Overall I'm pretty happy with it and the price was right.
I use a Scan Gauge II for doing exactly what you are referring too. They are about $150 and can be found at most auto parts stores. I drilled a hole in the back of the ashtray and ran the cable through it to the OBDII port. Nice clean, easy install.
Scangauge 2 here as well..works great. I mounted mine to the top of my steering column with velcro. Slight glance down to and very easy to see while watching the road.
