At the risk of looking like an idiot, I cannot for the life of me figure out why my boost detector will not build more than 1lb of pressure? I hear the air escaping from the passenger side exhaust manifold/up pipe joint area. How is the air getting to the hot side of the system? Could it be a wastegate issue? Am I overlooking something simple? Thanks for the help!

I'm just tossing some things out....
It could be your Wastegate. Have you inspected it?
I assume your being supplied with Shop Air of 90-100 psig and regulated down to 15-20 psig? It requires quit a bit in reserve to maintain flow.
You're using paired fittings on the Cap and Air Line?
You could have a blockage in the fitting itself on the Cap.
It could also just be a leak at a couple of your CAC Boots or perhaps the CAC itself.
I would suggest just looking around real good beginning on the intake side (which hardly ever leak - but you never know).
