Good morning everyone! Nice day out there.

Got football this morning, and then up to the camper.

I'm glad to hear you say that David. Perhaps they're worth a look!

I've had a couple of Super Duties and really liked them, but I don't think I'll be able to justify the added expense. I'd like to get another enclosed trailer, but I'm not certain about that, and my F150 did a great job with the last one I had.

Trucks are getting expensive though. I bought my '08 PSD Crew Cab F250 for $35,000 brand new. That one was wrecked, but an identical truck would be going for $30,000 on the used market now, and a new one about $45,000. I make more now than I did back then, but the kids get expensive!

But working on them all day I see what's junk and what's not. Chevy can't tow worth a crap. Same old, same old with the problem. They do ride nice, but car suspension will do that. Too weak...

At least the Dodge is actually heavy duty. The new ones are of far better quality too.
I like driving my dodge at work.

The promasters are pieces of **** though

FWIW, a gas 250 can be had for the same cost as an ecoboost 150...

Evenin' guys....

We are finally camping!!!! Okay - we're in the driveway... But still trying it on for size...
Finally finished the living room slide and got the new theater sofa and chairs/table in it...
Then got up on the roof and installed 5 Camco Vent covers. I bought six but it won't fit over the Fantastic Fan vent..
Let me tell you... That Camco roof treatment stuff is SLICK!!!! I had to throw sand on the roof just to get off/on the ladder... I think that stuff must have silicone in it.. Water beads up like crazy.
Pics

This is what it originally looked like. The sofa-bed stunk and had been a hotel for mice. The booth seats stunk also and were not in very good shape..

Good evening guys.

Made a trip to Fargo and back today for another visit to NDSU. Left home at 0415 and returned at 1800. That was a LONG drive....

Wow Mike, that is quite a drive.

Spent some time at the Ram/Chevy dealer in Cambridge today and test drove some trucks. Was very impressed with the Ram 1500, but I think the Ford is the better package. Hopefully I'll make something happen in the next month or so!

Good morning MN! Looks like another great day is shaping up!

I am not sure Tom but I think if you would buy a new Chevy or Dodge truck you would have to step down as moderator. Doesn't look to good if a mod of a Ford forum buys a new truck and its not a Ford! Lol

That's a good point Troy. Not completely unprecedented though!

Sounds kinda crazy, but support from the online community is one of the reasons I prefer a Ford. I know where I can pull a window sticker, vehicle specifications, towing guides, owner's manuals, build information, and lots more on a Ford. Much of that is offered by Ford on different sites if you know where to look. I can't seem to find any of that for the other manufacturers. The other brand forums seem pretty weak to me as well.
