What Lies Beneath....

Wondering what if anything you guys have added, hidden, and installed beneath your truck. I was specifically looking at the vast and relatively easy to access space that exists between the rocker panels and the Frame.
I've seen a few air compressor setups in that space...
I'm thinking I'd like to put some sort of storage under there, but I'm not sure what yet.

Storage? Dead body storage? What lies beneath the movie? Psyco... What?

This thread looks interesting already! I just have the boring air compressor 2 actually, air tank and horns.

I also put my compressors in there, but I'm thinking of moving them.

Wouldn't be a bad place for some airtight bug-out storage cases or something similar. Possibly store spare parts and stuff in there with associated tools for things like the CPS, spare fuel filter, etc. I know the center console is plenty large, however mine is filled with toddler SHTF items.

There are also the van frame mounted battery boxes for those looking for additional battery mounting solutions.

I think RACERX7775 and Housedad both use either these battery trays or similar aftermarket units.

Why? I like your install and planned on something like it if I ever get an OBA system. Too much road spray, grit and junk getting to them?

More or less exactly what I was thinking - a great place to store stuff you want along but hope to not need. I've also got a bunch of recovery gear, straps, shackles, chains, a trench shovel, etc. that I almost never use, but I know that as soon as it isn't 'in' the truck I'll need it. I was thinking to keep it simple maybe a few lenghts of 6" PVC with a screw on cap at each end, then hose clamped to the frame.

I also like the air pump mount - looks very nice. At first I was thinking WTF - got enough bolts on the edge there! Then I realized in the other picture that its on a piece of piano hinge so you can swing the plate down to access the pumps - nicely done!

I have often thought about this. I have a tendency to pack a lot of weight in the truck as it is. Adding storage for parts is an idea I like, but I think I need an engine refresh first.

I had often thought about adding a natural gas/propane delivery system to an EX, to be able to run on both. I saw a section about it on the main menu but have not dove into it, just a thought. Not necessarily to gain more HP, but to extend the cruising range, maybe better the fuel economy, and this might be an area for a tank to be plumed in? Might have to bounce over and check out that section.

I know NG/propane does not create as much power per pound/gallon, but have always considered it...
