'94 F150 Steering column replacement ?
Purchased an insurance auction '94 F150 XLT Lariat w/4.9 300, 4x4, that was a theft recovery. After replacing the passenger side window, interior door handle, changing plugs and wires, I'm extremely happy with this p/u. I mainly use it to haul the boat back and forth from the camper to the ramp, about a half mile round trip, but it's flawless. The only issue I have left is that when stolen the crook snapped the ignition off of the column, damaging the column to the extent that it won't accept a new cylinder, so I either have to change the column or continue using my Craftsman standard bladed "key". Just curious as to how big of a job the column is? TIA.
