Leaky master cylinder

I had this problem. I used a small sanding block to clean and flatten the top of my MC. Then, since I am really cheap, cleaned up my old gasket. I also replaced the brake fluid, and cleaned out the reservoirs. Haven't had a problem since.

I like that idea!

It wouldn't take much sanding with a piece of emery cloth to clean up the top edge and make a nice sealing surface.

Thanks for the tip!
