kysor a/c system

kysor a/c system
i have an old kysor a/c system on my truck and would like to have it working again. i was wondering how much R134A i should charge the system with, and also what kind of pump oil i should be using with it. the system has not worked since 2008. i did have it working prior to that but the last guy that owned the truck decided that when the fans in the cab quit blowing to not use the system anymore. but i have go the fans to work in the cab, and got the a/c pump to start engaging again. any help would be awesome. i also have a pic of the tag on the pump if this helps out at all.

Says right on the tag "Refrig 12". Not sure 134 is going to work. Tried these fellers yet?

i seen the refrigerant type on the tag. about 5 years ago i retrofitted it to R134A. it worked good when i used the new stuff, nice and cool. i was just wondering if anyone knew what type of oil i should use in the compressor and how many pounds to recharge the system. i set my ac gaugses on it today, surprisingly it still has gas in it, just needs a little to make it cool again.

What I did with all my R12 vehicles was first replace the receiver dryer most likely
needs it anyways. Bought retro kit from Napa that has oil in the freon, thats about
it. 85 Lincoln I done & I don't remember- been yrs -till this day works perfect.
Napa guy says the kit tricks the system into thinking its 134 ready. Not written in
stone but makes sense. 134 fitting provided for the low side. You will have to know
if there is a low switch on the low side usually at the dryer-if so unplug and jump
the connector so the compressor clutch will come on watch the provided gauge when
it gets in the green you are done. probably around 30 bucks.
