Tranny spacers

I have a 71 351w bolting up to a late model auto C-4. Does anyone know the correct spacer size. As well as a newbie question what side is the spacer on

Between flexplate and crank i would be assuming i guess it would also be called a shim

Yes im not sure if its universal or different sizes

That one is for 289/302/351W to C4. Those engines share a common bolt pattern and external dimensions.

The spacer goes between the block and the transmission. The crankshaft wouldn't be involved directly with the spacer I don't believe.
