We have two little lions and they thing the Christmas tree is their personal play toy. I swear they think it's a redwood begging to be climbed. We got ours a few years ago from the shelter and they are not brother and sister technically, they sure act like it.
Not sure if you saw it in my thread Scott. This was a delivery driver bringing the new Redwood to the dealer on I80 in Montana. There was a "high wind advisory" that day. It was ignored...
The DRW is more stable......There are still limits. I would bet the 5th wheel took the truck over. I drive in those winds all the time around here......just the truck. No problems.
When I was in Alaska this summer......The road shoulder gave way under the rear driver side of the truck. 5th wheel attached. Two things happened.....
1) The 5th wheel helped prevent the truck from rolling.
2) The moment I felt the truck start to roll.....I switched into 4wd, turned up hill and applied power.
When this started, the truck and 5th wheel were almost in a strait line......then Fun happened.
