Some campgrounds don't allow you to bring in your own firewood... Hopefully y'all aren't in one of those...
IIRC crossing state lines with firewood is a nono almost everywhere. Not to say I haven't done it. I've stopped taking it along as I'm in a bug quarantine zone. Not having your own wood along is a pain in the ***! I only transport cedar for campfires, which neither the emerald ash borer, or spotted lanternfly care for. But something bores holes in it once it's really dry.
Hi guys, good news, the vet gave us a prescription for Gabapentin (pain killer). The vet also has a 13 yr old black lab going through almost the same problems as Sophie. I asked the wife this afternoon if she still wanted to go. Her answer was she wanted to stay but I could go to the Dells if I wanted to. It just seems wrong for me to leave her here while I go and have a good time so I'm just going to stay here. There will be another GTG.
I am really enjoying the pics and play by play posts. It would be cool to get a pic of y'all around the campfire posting on your phones, tabs and laptops LOL.
I heard there is going to be a camper and truck show up in the Dells this week. I can't resist, so I'll see you fine folks tomorrow afternoon sometime. Most of you are looking at each other saying who is this guy??
Well, the storm is gone from here (south eastern MN) but on its way ESE...
Winds were 70 MPH. We only got a little hail, but there were reports of quarter sized hail on the weather radio. We did lose the main trunk of one of our trees, so my work is cut out for me tomorrow.
No problem Tim. Wish you could come too! Just wound it down and buttoned up for the night with thunderstorms supposedly coming in. What a great group to spend time with.....
