What is the general impression of the campground and location to the dells attractions?
Location to attractions is easy. This is not our typical campground or location as we usually gravitate to secluded / non-touristy locations. However, it's perfect for the G2G so all good!!!
We did a boat tour this AM. Here a a couple pics from the stops. Witch's Gulch and Stand Rock. Witch's Gulch was by far the most fascinating gulch I've seen... Now to figure out what a gulch is...
Yes, the dog did his thing. I think he stepped across so the net is likely not going to be in use. I think I could make it across there myself if there was a frosty beverage on the other side. Fun stuff just the same. I liked the "gulch" much better actually. That was really interesting.
Just spent some time with Roy and Doug just landed as well. Andy and his lad also made it down for a quick visit. Taking a quick break as my daughter takes her afternoon snooze and then back to the group....
Since being here, I have discovered two things that I was previously unaware of. First, Walmartians are the same here as in Texas. Second, Spotted Cow IS good beer! Yum
I think what Randy means is that this thread is getting a little light on pics...................I'm right there with him!
Rodney, the Witch's gulch looks pretty cool. I had not seen that one when I started looking into the area. I did see the stand rock and that looks neat too.
LOL @ Chad's firewood. Looks like something I'd do..............
