That depends on which Pump you have.

The Ford one will use the long and the Navistar will use the short.

The way to tell them apart is the Bottom Radiator Hose:

D/S is the Ford Pump

P/S is the Navistar.

Aftermarket, I can't help you with.

Well we are on a ford site, correct? Any buddy with the Navstar pump I would believe would know it. After market as long as it's a ford pump, would be the same. Don't mean to sound rude I just don't want to confuse people.

Halaferd there's no need to Google Gooch's coolant flush procedure. We have a thread right here at FTE that will help you with the flush, if you so choose.

Gooch's Coolant Flush Procedure and In-Depth Coolant Information - FTE

I dislike sending people off-site when FTE covers the subject well.

I found the thread on FTE for gooch's flush. I'm going to do that and make real sure the condenser, inter cooler, and radiator are clean first.

Keep it simple, then if that doesn't help, start looking else where. I check the water temp w a infrared sensor and it's about 192-194 at normal op temp. I will check radiator before flushing, for hot spots from blockage. And change the thermostat when I flush the system.

I'll keep you guys posted

Removed radiator and intercooler last night. Both pretty dirty but after washing the radiator out with the hot washer, making the radiator very hot over all, I ran cold water through it.

After a few seconds, and making sure the radiator was flooded, the left 1/3 was cool and the other 2/3 were still scalding hot.

So I washed the intercooler very well and I'm picking a new radiator and thermostat up tomorrow. Problem solved... For now anyway.

Any other suggestions on maintenance while I've got all of this apart are appreciated.

Thanks for the help guys!

Maybe get the top radiator hose that goes around the fan belt instead of through it if you have not already done that.
