Where did you find that price ? Everywhere I look they are $110 each or $400 set on ebay
Rancho had a Shocktober sale. Buy 3 get one free, and autoanything.com had the lowest prices, along with a discount code. I don't know when the next sale is.
Did a lot of research, FO* too expensive. Went w Pro Runne*s all four wheels and for Steering damper. Now she's a true Country Cadilla*. No offense if this is a mainly Rancho thread but. Heres my theory: If For* places Ranch*s on as stock. And you have to take them off due to "whatever reason your heart desires" Why would you put the same brand you are chucking back on your rig?

This isn't a mainly Rancho thread, it is a mainly Ford Super Duty thread. I have used Bilsteins in the past with mediocre success. I just happen to feel that in this particular application Rancho is offering a better value and perhaps a more durable product. I supply information in response to a question, it is up to the OP to decide what he wants to spend his money on.
If you look at the stock shocks, you will find the word "Motorcraft" etched into the metal. These are what you would call "Rancho licensed" shocks.
A product that is licensed is not the same as what the actual manufacturer sells.
By the way, that wasn't a theory, it was a question.
This is a question: If your computer comes with a keyboard containing all the letters of the alphabet, why would you use an asterisk in apparently random words?

They wear out. I've replaced tires for the same reason, they wear out. Same with fuel filters, oil filters, wiper blades, brakes, windshields, belts, front end parts, u-joints, spark plugs, injectors, engines, transmissions, etc. I don't think they make any parts that will last forever.
