For those of you who have a lift and dual steering stabilizer, when you turn a corner does your steering self straighten? In other words do you have to turn the wheel to go straight or does it do it on it's own like it should? When you put the stabilizer on did your return to center change or feel any different? I have a BDS dual steering stabilizer with Fox 2.0 shocks and a 6" Zone lift and the company that put it all on did a crappy job to put it nicely. I have taken the truck back multiple times to fix screw ups of theirs and it seems like there is always something new wrong when I get it back. I just want to know if the steering issue I'm having is common or not. They say it's fine I say B.S..
Are they actualy Fox 2.0 suspension shocks or Fox 2.0 steering damper shocks? Installing suspension shocks there will give you all sorts of problems since they are designed to rebound with pressure. Stering stabilizers only apply static pressure and dampening not rebound.
But to answer your question, once you put a dual stabilizer kit on you wheel should not return to center as easily or by itself. Took me a while to get use to it. Once they break in a little they will return a little easier but not much. If they are returning to center then they installed the wrong shocks.
