Yesterday, when I started my compute, I noticed an entry in my temp folder -- dfssystray.log. (Out of paranoia. I clear my temp folder a lot) This little buzzard could not be cleared as it was open in some application.
After some investigation, it looked to be something called Dell Foundation Services. The only reports I could find for DFS were about removing it. There didn't seem to be anything from Dell describing its purpose.
